THALES monopolar x-ray tubes are based on Thales advanced metal-ceramic technology. The ceramic’s dielectric strength provides a high reliability and a long life expectancy within a compact and light design.

Featuring a water-cooled anode and a tungsten cathode with direct heating, these tubes generate high-energy X-rays (450W - 4000 W) with various focal spots from 1.0 to 8.5 mm.

THALES MB 450/420/350 H450 C family of oil-cooled, center-grounded metal ceramic tubes are designed to give high power levels of x-rays, with high penetration energies. These directional beam tubes are equipped with dual focal spots and a Beryllium output window for optimal image resolution across the entire kV range.

These range includes tube types are particularly appropriate for high resolution imaging and for computer tomography applications.
