At the core of SPS Inspection Systems products is its new iX-Control. This product is .NET based and replaces 'IMPS III'. This software is much more than a comprehensive image processing package. It can interface to a wide range of x-ray sources, manipulators, and x-ray detectors. It has an embedded macro functionality, allowing the user to construct complex inspection sequences through 'Teach 'n' Repeat' or direct programming.

Inspection data can be collected in standard, or custom, inspection databases, which manage all the inspection parameters and images, and their archival. SPS Inspection Systems can supply customised database solutions, which integrate to customers plant wide supervision, and production control systems.

Additional modules, allow iX-Control to perform 2D and 3D Computed Tomography, and dedicated Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR). Its modular structure allows easy customisation and integration to customers existing mechanical handling plant, and production databases.
