Shaw Inspection Systems supply a broad range of standard component manipulators, for handling components from millimeter (gram) scale to meter (100s kg) scale.

In addition to component manipulators Shaw Inspection Systems also supply a range of standard tube and detector manipulators. Tube head manipulators may also include: tube head changeover mechanisms; mechanized collimation; filter slides or wheels; and mechanisms for introducing fixed apertures or warm up plugs into the x-ray beam.

Detector manipulators can include: detector changeover mechanisms; collimators or shutter assemblies; mechanisms for introducing lead masks; x-ray beam compensation pieces; and image quality indicators (IQIs). into the field of view.

Shaw Inspection Systems can also design, build, and install custom manipulators to provide solutions for virtually any component handling problem. This includes custom manipulator for heavier of bulkier components or manipulators for the inspection of complex component shapes.
