The MP1 is a 19" rack mounted universal controller. In 2006 Gulmay has completely updated the software and the central processor of this unit.

X-ray tubes from many manufacturers can be selected together with a Gulmay generator type to build an accurate model that limits the operation of the system to a safe level.

The error map has been enhanced to greatly aid system troubleshooting together with a data log that can be extracted with free windows software.

This controller software offers a true record of the system rather than just generator internal details.

The MP1 offers many features including individually adjusted kV and mA controls and bright displays for low light conditions. RS232 interface is available as standard. The unit runs in many modes including Warm Up, Real Time and Radiography with 600 stored locations for standard part inspection.

Radiographic and Real Time Control are also available via the RS232 interface to facilitate a bar-coding system.

In 2006 Gulmay has updated the software for the CP 12 Bit RS232 Control PCB to aid system troubleshooting together with a data log that can be extracted with free windows software. The data log contains data on all errors and usage of the system. This controller software offers a true record of the system rather than just generator internal details.

Interface to the Embedded Control consists of both hardware interlocks and status indication together with a data interface which is either RS232 or RS422, both are provided. The system software that is stored in the embedded controller is currently factory set to a particular x-ray tube and generator combination. Radiographic and Real Time Control are available via the RS232 interface to facilitate a bar-coding system.
