for Temporary Radiation Barriers
Shaw Inspection Systems supply portable x-ray warning systems for use with temporary radiation barriers. The system comprises of a central marshalling unit and a number of tripod mounted warning units. The marshalling unit can drive upto 3 chains of warning lamps, with up to 8 warning lamps per chain. 60m cables between warning lamps allow each branch to extend up to 410m.
Central Marshalling Unit
The marshalling unit has provision for inter-connection to existing Emergency Stop and X-Ray Warning Circuits. The marshalling unit requires a 240VAC main supply. It fused, is fitted with an earth leakage trip.

X-Ray Warning Units
Each unit is rated as 110VAC and IP 64 and is suitable for both indoor, and outdoor use. Each unit incorporates 3 60W Rotating Mirror Beacons and an audible siren. The siren is capable of 110dB at 1m, but can be adjusted by an internal preset volume control. Each unit has two cable connectors allowing the units to be daisy chained together, with up to 8 units per chain. Each chain is terminated by the central marshalling unit at one end, and a special loop back plug at the other end.

Accessories
Each system can be supplied with a full set of asessories, including heavy duty tripods to mount the x-ray warning units, interconnection cables (60m) between units, terminating loop back plugs, and wooden storage / transports crates.
