The VENLO V Series has been specifically
developed to replace industrial film in
applications where the highest levels of
radiographic quality are required. The system
can provide resolutions that match existing film
techniques and the large are flat panel detector
ensures high productivity and coverage of
components.
VENLO cabinets for use at 160kV, 225kV,
320kV, and 450kV are available as standard. The
cabinet can be suppiled with micro, mini, or
macro industrial x-ray tubes, and a range of
detector formats from 40cm x 40cm to 25 cm x
20cm.
Durable and Compact
Construction
The VENLO V has been designed for ease of use
and high productivity. The x-ray source,
detector, and component manipulator are enclosed
in a strong cabinet designed for quick
installation. The cabinet meets the most
stringent safety standards with external
radiation levels <1 µSv/hour. Components are
loaded at a pre-programmed tray height through a
large pneumatically operated door. The door is
fast operating and has a dual button close
system and 'safe edge' to ensure the highest
safety levels are maintained.
The operator's console houses motor drive
equipment, PC, x-ray control, manipulator
controls and display monitor(s).
Comprehensive, Easy To Use
Software
The VENLO V is supplied with iX-Control image
processing software which incorporates three
levels of security: Operator, Engineer and
Supervisor, each under password control. The
software provides a macro language with 'teach
and repeat' capability for the entire inspection
cycle (x-ray levels, exposure times, manipulator
control, data storage, etc.) The software has
been carefully optimised to obtain the maximum
radiographic perfromance from the system.
The resultant images are viewed as a
radiograph on a 1600 x 1200 pixel screen, and
can be archived onto CD, DVD, or USB 2.0 Drives.
A database reporting system and a higher
resolution monochromes display with a 2560 x
2048 pixel resolution are avaialble as
options.
High Productivity, Low Cost of
Ownership
The VENLO V completely eliminates x-ray film,
film processing, climate controlled film
storage, and the disposal of processing
chemicals. The system has a large component tray
of 400mm x 300mm, similar to large format film.
The mini-focus version can image components
filling this entire area in a single
