Shaw Inspections Systems do not provide systems for diagnostic imaging , nor radiation therapy, however the company does supply a range of standard and custom systems for a variety of pharmaceutical and medical applications.
Digital Radiography (DR) is used for the inspection of tablets, pills, skin patches and implants. DR is also used for the inspection of medical supplies such as needles, syringes and catheters. Surgical instruments, and implants, such as replacement knee, hip and elbow joints are often inspected using DR.
Computed Tomography is often used for research and development of new materials, such as scaffold materials used to speed bone re-growth.
