This sea shell was imaged in a standard Shaw Inspection Systems CT cabinet system, configured for high resolution 3D CT. The cabinet was fitted with a 225kV micro-focus x-ray tube and an Image Intensifier coupled CCD detector. The sample was manouvered using a standard precision 5-axis manipulator.
