This igneous rock sample was imaged in a standard Shaw Inspection Systems 450kV Modular X-Ray Bay, configured for high resolution 2D CT. The enclosure was fitted with a 450kV industrial mini-focus x-ray tube and a Linear Detector Array (LDA). The sample was manouvered using a standard precision 5-axis manipulator.
The mango was imaged at a Magnification of 1.13, with a pixel (and voxel) resoultion of 0.074mm. The X-Ray parameters were 340kV, 2.5mA, with an exposure time of 100ms per line or per projection. A total 2254 projection angles were used to generate the 2D CT slices. Seven horizontal 2D CT slices were taken at vertical intervals of 10.0mm.
